Polite but glacially slow
The staff is courteous and the flat fee was clearly explained. But after five months, my case consists of one letter to the resort and a lot of 'we're waiting on a response.' For $2,200 I expected more than a mail merge.

Halloway & Prewitt presents itself as a law firm specializing in timeshare contract termination, charging flat fees per contract reviewed. Fictional sample company.

The staff is courteous and the flat fee was clearly explained. But after five months, my case consists of one letter to the resort and a lot of 'we're waiting on a response.' For $2,200 I expected more than a mail merge.
They declared my exit complete and sent a congratulatory letter. Two months later the resort billed me for annual maintenance and said my ownership was never transferred or cancelled. Halloway & Prewitt now wants another fee to 'reopen the file.'
I paid the $2,200 flat fee, then a $1,400 'expedited resolution' fee when nothing happened. Fourteen months later I still legally own the timeshare, I've paid two more years of maintenance fees, and the firm has stopped returning my calls. The whole thing feels designed to outlast you until you give up.
